ife is all about building
friendships, and in life there are moments when we have to succumb to the needs
of others. People who dare to succumb to others, it is they who are loved by
Allah.

irstly,
Islam truly encourages us to succumb to other people who have more important
and priority needs. Here, succumbing to other people's more urgent needs
doesn't mean losing. Al-Hafizh al-'Iraqi said, "Included in this problem
is to provide a spacious place for people who have just come to the assembly if
possible, especially if they are people who have the right to be glorified such
as old people, knowledgeable people or leaders. public." (Faidhul Qadir,
vol. 5, p. 494)

econdly,
someone who succumbs to others who are arguing in order to avoid division will
get a very large reward, from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. There's no point in
boasting that you're right. This will make you appear lower than you really
are. The reward of giving in itself is heaven. The Prophet (SAW) said,
"Whoever succumbs to an argument and he is wrong, a house will be built
for him at the bottom of Paradise. Whoever relents even though he is right, a
house will be built for him in the middle of Paradise.” So, what are you
thinking of?

hirdly, being willing to succumb is a sign of maturity. Of course, you want to be considered a grown up, don’t you? So, be a person who likes to succumb to weaker people such as the elderly, children and people with special needs. succumbing to others in particular events is beautiful, but in competition, of
course you can’t give in. Only in competition, giving in is really bad idea.
You don’t want to lose, do you? But again, not everything in life is about
competition. You need to yield to others for your own good. Never forget that
we must put the public interest above our own interests.
